Overview
The home of Asbury baseball is named for Cecil Zweifel, who is widely regarded as the “father of Asbury Athletics. Zweifel began the baseball program in 1983 and served as the program’s first head coach. Regarded as one of the top facilities in the conference, Zweifel Field is a Bluemuda natural grass surface and features stadium and chair-back seating.
Directly behind the right-field wall of Zweifel Field is the Bowdoin Athletic Practice Facility, offering convenient access to the Asbury baseball program. Dedicated and opened in March of 2018, the facility features a turf surface throughout with two batting cages and a 90-foot space for throwing, agility, and other needs.
Zweifel Field is connected through sidewalk in walking distance to the Asbury Luce Center, as well as the entire campus of Asbury University.
