Overview

The Peter Jay Sharp Athletic and Recreation Center offers approximately 50,000 square feet of recreational space and is open to all University of Mount Saint Vincent student-athletes, faculty, and staff. A valid UMSV ID is all that is required.

The expanded Sharp Center opened in 2009 and the performance court is now home to the UMSVt Men's & Women's Basketball and Volleyball programs. The Sharp Center is also where you will find the campus Fitness Center, auxiliary gymnasium, locker rooms, athletic offices and ATC. The Fitness Center has over 2,500 square feet of state-of-the-art fitness equipment, featuring Cybex equipment, free weights and various cardiovascular machines, rivaling most commercial facilities in the region.
